Store Manager – Deana Laney
I’m originally from Illinois. I made it to Virginia via AZ, North Dakota and England. In my spare time I play handbells for the Virginia Handbell Consort. This is my 17th year. We make amazing music. I am a mom of 3 and grandmother of 12. I love spending time with them when I can. Unfortunately, some are far away so it’s not too often. I love to read books. I’ve been reading since I was very young. You can be sure that wherever I am, I have a book in tow! I started working in the hardware business in Oct of 1990 at Grafton True Value. I spent 29 years there before it was bought in June of 2019 by Ace Peninsula Hardware and I became the manager of Grafton Ace Hardware. My favorite part of the job is inventory, weird I know. I also love when customers tell me how awesome the store is. Fortunately that is often! It makes me feel good even if I’m having a bad day.

Grafton ACE Hardware is conveniently located off George Washington Memorial Hwy and right around the corner from the Yorktown Battlefield. We have been proudly serving the local community for many years but have been flying the ACE flag since 2019. This 8,000 square foot store offers a wide variety of hardware supplies including a large grilling, lawn and garden, paint, and power equipment department. We stock all the best brands such as Stihl, Toro, Benjamin Moore, Big Green Egg, Weber, Traeger, Blackstone plus much more.
